Strategy
Content is a system. Here's proof.
Four problems I was handed, or handed myself, all under one role.
- Problem
- Effort went everywhere at once instead of compounding. The team was publishing journalism people wanted to read, but with no measurement in place, there was no way to tell which thing actually worked.
- Approach
- Built the organization's first owned content measurement framework and worked on the site itself in parallel, each round of numbers pointing at the next fix: cut load time, rebuilt calls to action to strengthen the path from reader to registration to subscription, and fixed the bugs that had been quietly breaking how content shipped. The framework showed where readers were falling away; the work on the site is what stopped it.
- Result

- Problem
- The same problem on both sides of the newsroom. Inside, the numbers lived in analytics and years of articles sat in an XML archive, so reaching either one meant digging. Outside, readers had no organized archive to browse, only the most recent posts.
- Approach
- Built two tools on one idea: the archive should answer a question instead of being scrolled through. For the team, custom dashboards that put the numbers, the context, and what they add up to in one place. For readers, a search tool with a chatbot front end that finds pieces by topic, author, or date and suggests what to read next — which first meant building a custom API to crawl the site and index the articles.
- Result
- The team locates any piece of Opinión 51's back catalog in seconds instead of scrolling through it, and reads its own numbers without asking anyone to pull them. Readers get a way into the archive that doesn't depend on already knowing what they're looking for.
- Problem
- Ryvor Group, a U.S. hospitality company, needed to automate its communications in English and Spanish, without a translation department to do it.
- Approach
- Built AI translation tooling as part of an ongoing independent client engagement, with verification workflows that adapt content across languages instead of translating it word for word.
- Result
- Bilingual content shipped on schedule without adding headcount, inside a client relationship that has run since 2020.
- Problem
- Victoria147's brand partnerships with Meta, BBVA (Edufin), and QuickBooks, plus alliances with Nutrisa, Tienda Nube, Gobierno de León, and Diageo, each came with content commitments that had to move from concept to publication.
- Approach
- Acted as the link between Victoria147's content division and each brand, owning the content side only, start to finish: coordinating with the design team, scheduling, distributing, and reporting on performance. The founder's own profile ran on the same rails, and I was one of several people working on her content and how it reached commercial audiences.
- Result
- Three years as the content throughline for the academy's highest-profile brand relationships, and part of the team behind its founder's public and commercial presence.

I spent three years coordinating content for a Mexico City business academy, running everything from internal content to the brand partnerships with Meta, BBVA, and QuickBooks. Since then, I've kept an independent practice running, adding up to seven years in communications across media, healthcare, finance, hospitality, and consumer brands in the U.S. and Latin America.
Today I own web content and analytics for Opinión 51, a Mexican newspaper published entirely by women writers, where I built the organization's first internal measurement framework from scratch. I work in English and Spanish, and I'm the person who ends up building the internal tool nobody asked for because it saves the team four hours a week.
